MSI ZG45 GAMING ethernet not working at all
Is it possible tha my power supply I’m not sure it is working well is not enought powerful to let the network adapter works? Try uninstalling the nic from device manager and all drivers whilst removing from the system.
I received this motherboard in the mail yesterday ,replacing a version silently older 1 year older than the one I just bought. Just try the latest update for killer network driver: In device manager as you can see in tehernet screenshoot the lan is present hidden as disconnected: I tried to install the driver from the site and from CD but in both case seems they are not able to identify the device on my board.
It shows the NIC as being disconnected. Already tried latest killer nic drivers from site and msi site along with atheros drivers chip is based on.
Windows started up just fine and I expected to see that I needed to install the chipset, installed the updated chip set but the device manager does NOT see the network adapter. I have the NIC cable plugged into the router and confirmed that it works, put it in the laptop etgernet I get blinky lights, put back ino the NIC on the motherboard and nothing.
