So for now I’m just booting generic and all is good. Linux headers-generic are installed. I am also getting no sound in Gutsy Beta with this sound card.

Having this card on an Asus w7s with Kubuntu Gusty 2. It’s almost like one of these hardware volume buttons is stuck, but it’s not.

Which version of Ubuntu? I’m willing to give outputs and to help in any way.
