My only area of concern is the row of 5 capacitors to the left of the socket. I checked all the volume settings in the control panel, and enabled in device manager. Thanks Vegas, Went to other forum and searched for sound issues and found a post that solved my problem. I’ve tried older drivers, newer drivers, Realtek drivers, NVswitch, everything that I have seen on many, many forums about this issue and nothing seems to work. I have checked hardware in device manager and it shows that everything is working okay. In order across the top are the following connectors:

Thanks again for the quick reply. A large HSF or water block will come close to hitting these so keep that in mind. Plug the speakers into the “line out” port, to effect sound.
I checked all the volume settings in the control panel, and enabled in device manager. Often the disk that comes with the motherboard is dated, always check for new drivers for aidio, audio etc.

First check in the BIOS pages to ensure the on-board sound is enabled, if used. When you plug in headphones, sound is shut off to the rear connectors and redirected to the headphones.
